As a Florida attorney, you get to pray facing Tallahassee and the Florida Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court of Florida has been around for over 150 years and the seal used predates the statehood.  They used to pick Chief Justices using a Bible or law book and whichever Justice opened to a page whose first word began with a letter closest to “Z” would be the Chief Justice.  Much has changed since 1845 when Florida became a state and was the least populous of the southern states to now when we are the fourth most populous state nationwide.

“The mission of the Florida Judicial Branch is to protect rights and liberties, uphold and interpret the law, and provide for the peaceful resolution of disputes.”  Its vision is to be accessible, fair, effective, responsive, and accountable.
